The present volumes contain annotated registers providing the first comprehensive overview of the holdings of medieval and early modern German-language manuscripts in the most important archives in Slovakia. The three part-volumes are arranged according to the historical areas settled by Germans (West, Central and East Slovakia). The unparalleled integrity of their transmission and their supra-national significance indicate that the German-language manuscripts in Slovakia are relevant across disciplinary boundaries.
