"Rural 21 - The International Journal for Rural Development" – focuses on rural development in the Global South contributing to development cooperation, research and decision-making. Each issue examines main topics on e.g. agriculture and nutrition, forestry and ecosystems, economy and society, sustainable (socio-economic and ecological) development in rural areas, democratisation, food systems and crisis prevention, climate change, gender and education.
